Buckeye Hills Country Club, the private course, serves up a solid round, playing just short of 6,400 yards to a slope of 121. Among the public courses, Golden Bear Golf Center at Rollandia is worth investigating, despite its mouthful of a name and its appropriation of an Ohio legend's moniker. Big hitters should seek out Kittyhawk Golf Course, which plays nearly 7,200 yards. And golfers who appreciate novelty should play Madden Golf Course, because they will likely never again have the opportunity to play a course designed by someone named Nipper.
